Romford theatre looks forward to 2020
Romford-based Brookside Theatre is anticipating an upbeat 2020 season.
Situated on Eastern Road, the venue had fresh seating fitted in September and has now announced its shows and musicals for the next year. Chicago, which once had a historic run in the West End, is the most famous musical on the new list. Jai Sepple, the theatre manager, told the Romford Recorder:
Sepple is proud of the independence of the Brookside Theatre. He hopes that the cultural hub can continue to support the performing arts for years to come.
The new season is structured around catering for a diversity of tastes. A wide range of tribute bands have been booked to deliver a variety of music. Fans of Bob Dylan and The Beatles may be thrilled. In addition, The Platters and The Bachelors are going to showcase their distinctive sounds. Poster printing is ideal for organisers of gigs and shows to promote their events.
With regard to comedy, the legendary Cannon and Ball act has been pencilled into the schedule. A production of Clue: The Musical should also make the audience laugh out loud.
