Romford prepares to be entertained

Richard Digance, a comedian, poet and musician, is due to play a gig in Romford in mid-November.

Digance entertains his audience on stage with an mix of poems, songs and anecdotes. His upcoming show is set to boast two hours of humorous material, recounting a treasure trove of stories that have been accumulated over a 40-year career in the entertainment and music industry. It will be a one-man show, with just the company of his guitar, and no supporting act.

The entertainer has supported numerous stars in the past, including Robin Williams and Steve Martin, and he has even duetted on guitar with Queen's Brian May. Digance has been nominated for a BAFTA in the past, and the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters honoured him in 2003 with its Gold Award. He is also featured in The Virgin Anthology of Songwriters.

The show should appeal to a broad spectrum of people, young and old alike. Describing Digance’s performances, BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris has been quoted by Ents 24 as saying:



“Richard Digance is a national treasure.”




Tickets cost £20, and there is no booking fee. Only those aged six years and older are permitted to attend. Brochure printing can be an effective way of advertising a forthcoming theatrical event like this.
