Romford gets new store
Romford’s Liberty Shopping Centre gained a new retailer recently.
The shopping centre welcomed Quiz, a company that focuses on the delivery of fast fashion. It filled a site that was once occupied by New Look Menswear. Promotional products are often useful for businesses that are entering new territory.
Omar Aziz, a director of regional operators at Quiz, told Drapers:
Quiz is based in a building that includes a first floor and a ground floor. The store fills a space which amounts to almost 3,850 square feet. The shopping centre now contains a variety of retailers, with Next, H&M, River Island, Foot Locker, SuperDry and Topshop/Topman all attracting shoppers.
It seems that Quiz has been operating in quite a difficult economic context. Last year, profits added up to £200,000 and the volatility of the trading environment has attracted comment. The previous year profits had exceeded £8 million. Nevertheless, determined efforts have been made by the retailer, via a range of channels.
As a whole, the Quiz group managed to expand its revenue in the year ending in March. This performance meant that revenue exceeded £130 million.
