US icons to make Manchester stop
A Manchester venue will welcome a world-famous American band later this year.
As part of their new 2021 UK tour, the legendary US band Blondie will be stopping in Manchester for a single night show. From arenas and stadiums to cafes and clubs, live music venues sometimes use poster printings services to create adverts of all sizes, from those developed for window display to large-scale billboard designs.
Led by the world-renowned Debbie Harry, the group was formed by the singer and guitarist Chris Stein in 1970s New York.
Since then, Blondie has continued to play a blend of punk, pop, new wave, and rock to audiences all over the world, impressing critics and listeners alike. In the UK and Australia, Blondie received a warm welcome from critics and the public with albums like “Eat to the Beat” and “Parallel Lines” charting well.
Those attending the upcoming show in Manchester will be able to hear a track list featuring a whole host of Blondie classics like “Heart of Glass”, “One Way or Another”, “Hanging on the Telephone”, “Call Me” and “Sunday Girl”.
Blondie will now play the AO Arena on Victoria Station Approach at Hunts Bank in Manchester on Tuesday, November 9 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. They will be ably backed by fellow US rockers Garbage on the night.
