UK music legend to play Manchester

A celebrated Manchester music venue is set to host an iconic English artist on his farewell tour across the UK.

Manchester music fans will get a last chance to see the world-famous singer-songwriter Elton John in concert this summer when he plays the AO Arena. The June show is part of John’s epic stadium tour entitled “Farewell Yellow Brick Road”, which is planned as the award-winning artist’s swansong from touring. Event spaces hosting epic moments in music history often look to expert banner printing services to create massive largescale signage that commands attention from the crowds.

A multi-platinum hitmaker and celebrated performer, John has produced countless albums and tracks during a career that has spanned six decades. Together with prolific lyricist Bernie Taupin, he has crafted some of the most famous songs known around the world working in a diverse range of genres, from pop and rock to soulful blues and country.

Those attending his farewell concerts will get a chance to hear music from his extensive songbook which may include “I’m Still Standing”, “Rocket Man”, “Crocodile Rock”, and his Oscar-winning theme from Disney’s The Lion King, “Can You Feel The Love Tonight”.

Elton John will be live on stage at the AO Arena located at Victoria Station Approach in Hunts Bank, Manchester on Friday, June 2. The show will begin at 7.30pm and run until 10.30pm.
