What's Happening in Manchester, England…

TheEword is the word for 2014

TheEword, an award-winning Greater Manchester digital marketing company, has begun the new year by securing a contract from a printing company based in the city.

The link-up between the two firms sees theEword handling the pay per click and search engine optimisation strategies for Manchester Printers, as of the start of this year, and follows a training workshop focused on SEO techniques which theEword held last year.

TheEword was launched back in 2006, with a two-man team consisting of Al Mackin as CEO and Tom Glass as the Creative Director, and now boasts more than 20 employees. Based in Trafford Park on the west of the city

Speaking about the agreement, theEword’s business development director, Kleon West, said:

“We are proud that Manchester Printers has chosen to work with us…”

“We believe theEword’s commitment to transparency and consultative approach to winning new clients was a good fit for the company’s needs.”

The company provides digital and mobile marketing, web design and content services, and this latest contract could see that expansion continue throughout the year. Other clients boasted by the company include bookmaking giant BetFred, casino brand Kerching and a number of law and property firms from in and around the Manchester area.

Manchester Printers managing director Gavin Page said his company chose theEword because of the team’s method of making what they do easy to follow, their commercially-minded approach and the wealth of ideas they had at their disposal when proposals were discussed.
