Punk rockers bound for Manchester

The Welsh punk band Panic Shack is currently on tour and is due to play a gig in Manchester in mid-May.

This all-girl quintet, consisting of Sarah Harvey, Meg Fretwell, Romi Lawrence and Emily Smith, formed in Cardiff in 2018. They burst onto the UK music scene with humorous lyrics, strong hooks and a brash sound, all while acquiring a reputation for their energetic live performances.

With the backing of punk duo Bob Vylan, BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, BBC Radio 6, Radio X and their Tik Tok audience, Panic Shack has since established their own musical niche.

The band has appeared with artists such as The Wytches and Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard around the UK. They have also performed on the stages of Primavera Festival, Liverpool Sound City, Reading Festival, Green Man Festival and at Cardiff Castle.

According to critics, their 2022 debut EP 'Baby Shack' traverses the full range of emotions, with songs such as 'Jiu Jits You' and 'I Don't Really Like It'. The band is looking likely to continue to chart their own distinctive musical course and further win over audiences along the way.

Tickets for the performance cost £17.95 inclusive of a transaction fee. Promotional Products can be a useful resource when it comes to advertising a concert or musical event like this one, and can also be sold as merchandise on the night.

Panic Shack's gig has a starting time of 7.30 pm on Friday, 16 May at Band On The Wall, Manchester.
