New jobs soon available at Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport is set to make 2,500 job opportunities available from the start of next year, with local residents to have the first pick of them.
The airport, which is the third largest such facility in the UK, will be hosting a jobs fair during January, with those attending able to choose from a variety of jobs at different companies based within the hub.
Although the opening hour of this fair will be focused on those residents in the M22 and M23 postcodes, the overall event will have opportunities for everyone living in the city.
There has already been a preview event held in Wythenshawe, which was designed to let those living closest to the airport find out more about the fair and register themselves.
Entitled ‘Get Ready to be Hired’, it was publicised with numerous leaflets, posters and banners throughout the local area. In situations like this, banner printing in Manchester often proves to be extremely useful.
Local MP Mike Kane told the Manchester Evening News that he was delighted that the airport would be creating so many jobs, adding:
The fair will take place on the 13th of January, between 10am and 7pm.

“That’s because the airport impacts massively on the local community. Therefore, it’s only right that local people should get the first chance on opportunities that come up at the airport.”
