Manchester to welcome country crooner
An acclaimed country music artist will be playing in Manchester as part of his 2022 UK tour.
The O2 Ritz Manchester will soon host an evening performance from US country singer-songwriter The White Buffalo, also known as Jake Smith. Live venues based in major UK cities often employ professional printing services to help them advertise upcoming shows with branded promotional materials.
Smith was born in the 1970s in Oregon in the United States, and he found inspiration from folk artists like Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. Since he started performing live and recording in 2002, and he has released multiple EPs and albums.
With a baritone pitch to his singing, Smith is also known for including whistling in his tracks. His first studio album was entitled “Hogtied Like a Rodeo” and was followed by the acoustic-blues EP “The White Buffalo”. His famous tracks include “Come Join the Murder” and “Reaching for the Light”.
The White Buffalo’s unique blend of country and US folk music found popularity in American movies and television, with many of his songs selected for inclusion in soundtracks. His music has been featured in The Punisher, This is Us, Longmire and the hit biker gang drama inspired by William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Sons of Anarchy.
The White Buffalo will play the O2 Ritz Manchester on Whitworth Street West in Manchester on Monday, April 18 between 7 pm and 9 pm.
