Manchester to host festival of gin

A celebration of gin is set to take place in the city of Manchester next month.

Lovers of the distilled drink that takes its taste from the juniper berry will be flocking to Manchester Cathedral on Victoria Street for the two-day event.

Live music will accompany the festival, along with plenty of nibbles to complement the cocktails and spirits on sale. A dance floor will also be available along with games of giant Jenga. Guests can purchase their favoured bottle from the festival gin shop or gain some expert advice from specialists in all things gin.

The Manchester Gin Festival will take place on Friday, February 21 from 6:30pm to 11pm and on Saturday, February 22 between 12pm and 11pm.
