Manchester awaits the arrival of American alt-rockers
The US rock band, Say Anything, is embarking on its '…Is A Real Boy' 20th Anniversary tour, and is due to play a gig in Manchester towards the end of January.
Max Bemis, the lead vocalist and songwriter, founded the band in Los Angeles, California in 2000. There have been different line-ups in the years since. After a change of musical style, they came to wider public attention in 2004, thanks to the '…Is A Real Boy' album's release, which produced the single 'Alive with the Glory of Love'.
Say Anything then began touring, which included joining forces with band Saves the Day. They continued to develop their alternative rock sound in 2009 with a chart-topping self-titled album.
2014 saw the release of 'Hebrews' and a follow-up 'I Don't Think It Is', which reached number 35 on the Billboard charts.
The band announced that their eighth LP, the 2018 'Oliver Appropriate' would be their last, but in 2023, they reformed for a couple of live appearances, bringing out two singles 'Are You (In) There' and 'Psyche!'.
Tickets cost £39.05 inclusive of a transaction fee. Flyer printing can be an effective option when it comes to the promotion of a concert or musical event.
Say Anything's gig has a starting time of 6.00 pm on Friday, 24 January at O2 Ritz, Manchester.
