What's Happening in Manchester, England…

Iconic band to play Manchester for the last time

A long-running British group will be playing a famous Manchester venue as part of their last major tour of the United Kingdom.

One of Britain’s most renowned and influential bands, The Stranglers have been impressing album buyers and audiences with their musical stylings for more than 45. Since they formed during the UK’s tumultuous punk rock scene, The Stranglers have become household names with chart hits. Recently, they decided to retire from extensive touring, but before they close the chapter, they are performing a last series of concerts across the country, include a stop in Manchester in the new year.

Tour promoters often depend upon professional print shops to create branded and bespoke advertising materials like posters and flyers that reflect the unique image of the musical groups they represent.

Stranglers fans from around Manchester will now get the chance to hear live versions of classic tracks such as “Always the Sun”, “Skin Deep”, and “Strange Little Girl”, along with crowd pleasing hits like “Golden Brown” and “Peaches”.

The group recently released an album, Dark Matters, recorded with keyboardist David Greenfield who passed away in 2020. The band chose not to cancel the planned tour and to carry on in their bandmate’s honour.

The Stranglers are set to take the stage at the O2 Apollo on Stockport Road in Manchester on Friday, February 11 from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm.
