Festival of light makes welcome return
In a special seasonal edition, the Lightopia festival is returning to Manchester.
Entitled “Lightopia Presents Christmas at Heaton Park” the award-winning outdoor occasion is coming back to the city. Members of the public are invited to attend an immersive experience featuring a wide range of light installations and interactive attractions, including a chance to explore the illuminated magical lantern trail.
With a festive theme for the season, this year’s Lightopia will showcase new illumination experiences especially created for Christmas, like the dedicated showcase, the astronomy display, Music City, and Manchester Skyline. Along with these brand new attractions, many favourites from last year’s event will return, such as the antler-inspired Love Gate, the Tree of Life, and the cutting-edge Lakeside water exhibit.
Promoters of seasonal outdoor events can sometimes use professional banner printing services to create colourful signage onsite for members of the public to follow.
The Lightopia festival of lanterns and lights has been carefully designed this year to provide a safe and secure environment for guests to enjoy the displays with their family and friends. New wider pathways are provided, as well as reduced queuing via multiple entry points, and two car parks to assist with recommended social distancing.
The Lightopia festivities for Christmas will be held at Heaton Park, on Middleton Road in Manchester. It begins on November 20 and continues until January 3, 2021.
