Fazenda restaurant enjoys VIP Manchester launch
The latest restaurant to hit Manchester arrived in style recently, with a VIP launch party attended by a number of celebrities based in the area.
Fazenda cost £2 million to build and offers South American food cooked on barbecues, including 15 varieties of churrasco-style meat dishes, which has seen it prove a major hit with foodies in Liverpool and Leeds.
Now it is hoped that people in Manchester will embrace its meat meals in the same way.
Amongst the VIPs who attended were the Coronation Street actresses Sair Kahn and Katie McGlynn, and they witnessed impressive – if temporary – attractions like the workings of a corkscrew machine made of metal pipe.
The restaurant is located in Spinningfields, and features three separate areas for quiet dining, with space for 230 people overall. It boasts design by Bernard Carroll, who previously created the interiors of San Carlo Bottega, Victor’s and Panacea, offering diners luxurious leather seats and candle chandelier lighting.
Like other new venues opening in the city, Fazenda will be able to make use of the flyer printing provided by printing companies in Manchester, to spread the word to potential customers.
Diners are given a disc when arriving at Fazenda, which they leave on the side coloured green if they want to order more meat and red if they do not.
