Beer and Cider Festival returns to Manchester

The city of Manchester is set to kick off the new year with a festival devoted to beer and cider.

In a celebration of northern brewing, the festival brings cider, beer and perry makers from the UK’s east to west coasts. Cask ale will be available for sale in an enormous range from Humberside, Yorkshire, Manchester and Merseyside along with many other areas.

Lovers of ale visiting the event will have plenty of taps to choose from led by the ‘Coast to Coast’ and ‘Beers from the Woods’ bars. Two keg bars selling craft beer will also offer the finest beers available from international brewers as well as those here in the UK.

Festival goers seeking some traditional cider will be well catered for, with new ranges from the UK’s favourite makers. Companies promoting products at festivals can benefit from handing out free promotional products to those attending.

Arguably the North’s biggest event for ales, the four-day festival will take place at the Manchester Central Convention Complex on Windmill Street.

Tickets for the event are priced between £7.64 and £27.26. Members of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) have the option to purchase advance tickets. They will be given complimentary drink tokens after displaying a valid membership card on arrival.

The Manchester Beer and Cider Festival will begin on Wednesday, January 22 with a day open to trade and CAMRA members only. It will then be open to the public and run from January 23 to January 25.
