What's Happening in Manchester, England…

Australian artist to perform in Manchester

Manchester will extend a warm welcome this summer to an Australian singer-songwriter renowned for his unique brand of coastal folk.

The laid-back sounds of rising Australian music star Jack Botts will be coming to the north of England after the artist announced a summertime gig in Manchester.

Botts will be performing a range of tracks from his recent 2021 EP for British audiences. Entitled ‘Slow Mornings’, it includes the popular songs ‘Tattoos’, ‘I’ve Got You’ and the hit single ‘18th Floor’. Solo artists and musical groups alike often enlist professional graphic design services to set artwork for the covers and sleeves of their albums and EPs.

From his origins working as a carpenter, Botts moved on to become a busker before transforming into a professional recording artist. Today, he has amassed a huge following and has 250,000 listeners each month tuning in to stream his songbook on Spotify, and he has enjoyed numerous successful tours across Australia.

After Slow Mornings, the songsmith released an album called ‘Live at Miami Marketta’, featuring six live tracks recorded at the famous venue in Brisbane’s Gold Coast, along with a previously unreleased fan favourite single titled ‘Ooh La La’.

Jack Botts will now perform live in concert at The Deaf Institute, located at 135 Grosvenor Street in Manchester, on Friday, August 19. The show will begin at 6 pm and end at 9 pm.
