Alternative rock band rolls up to Manchester
Alt-rock outfit October Drift is embarking on a tour, and is due to play a gig in Manchester at the end of October.
They are Somerset-based, write their own songs and have been developing a high-tempo rock beat since the middle of the last decade. Born of diverse musical influences that include everything from Joy Divison and Nirvana through to My Bloody Valentine and the Smashing Pumpkins.
The group consists of singer and frontman Kiran Roy, with Dan Young on guitar, Alex Bispham on bass, and percussionist Chris Holmes. Their first LP, 'Forever Whatever' was released in 2020 to considerable critical acclaim, although they had been touring and selling out live venues since 2015.
The band's most recent album 'I Don't Belong Anywhere' came out on the Physical Education Recordings label and is a more taut and visceral record. They have recently been entertaining audiences at festivals such as Glastonbury and BST Hydepark. not to mention completing a major European tour with Editors.
Their latest EP 'Naked', released in 2020, condenses much of what the band's sound is about.
Tickets cost £15.87 inclusive of a transaction fee. Banner printing can prove to be effective when it comes to the promotion of a concert or musical event.
