All-star rock arriving in Manchester

A supergroup featuring legendary rock stars will be playing live for Manchester audiences this summer at one of the city’s biggest venues.

Manchester’s AO Arena has announced that the Hollywood Vampires are coming to its stage this coming July. Led by shock rock icon Alice Cooper, the band will be playing a single-night show at the celebrated Manchester venue as part of a UK tour to promote their latest album release. Major city venues often look to specialist poster printing services to create a range of advertisements in different formats.

The Hollywood vampires have a long history. They were formed on LA’s Sunset Strip in 1972 at a club known as the Rainbow Bar & Grill. A social group made up of famous musicians, the Hollywood Vampires featured some of the biggest names in the business. According to Cooper, mainstays of the club include Harry Nilsson, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and The Who’s infamous drummer Keith Moon.

To honour the notorious ‘70s social club, Alice Cooper recently joined actor and musician Johnny Depp, along with Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, to create an album dedicated to the Hollywood Vampires with a string of gigs planned to promote it to the public.

The Hollywood Vampires will now play live at the AO Arena on Saturday, July 8. The venue is situated at Victoria Station Approach in Hunts Bank, Manchester.
