Two hugely popular and successful bands have been confirmed to play at a music festival set to take place in Macclesfield during the spring of next year.
Legendary punk band The Buzzcocks and hit group Toploader are among the first names to have been announced on the line-up of the Party in the Pews. As the name suggests, this festival will be held in the unusual environs of Christ Church, which is situated in Bridge Street, Macclesfield.
The Buzzcocks are most famous for their song ‘Ever Fallen in Love’, while Toploader enjoyed a massive hit in the late 1990s with ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’. These songs are all but guaranteed to get an outing during the festival, alongside other highlights from the Catalogues of each band.
