'Arts Fair Cheshire 2026', in support of East Cheshire Hospice, is making a welcome return to Macclesfield at the beginning of October.
This curated exhibition has taken place once every two of years since 1999 and is a popular feature on the region's cultural map. It presents a diverse collection of paintings, ceramics, sculpture and glasswork by 70 artists from the local area that visitors can enjoy.
There will be two galleries used to display the works: the Assembly Gallery hosting fine art pieces, and the Capesthorne Gallery which is the location for ceramics, jewellery and photography as well as some specialist crafts.
The Art Fair, apart from creativity, is about connecting people. Visitors can participate in tours and attend lectures, affording them an opportunity to hear personally from the artists exhibiting. There will also be a pop up café for refreshments, not to mention a chance to meet craft makers, young talent and of course purchase works.
It should readily appeal to art enthusiasts, collectors and hospice supporters alike. A percentage of the money from each sale made will go directly to East Cheshire Hospice.
Entry is free. Flyer printing can be a useful resource for those engaged in the promotion of a cultural or community event.
Arts Fair Cheshire 2026 is due to run from Thursday 8th October to Thursday 15th October at Macclesfield Town Hall.
