Macclesfield to pay tribute to music legends

The world's first Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Fleetwood Bac, is due to play two shows in Macclesfield at the beginning of August.

This five-piece outfit celebrate the Anglo-American band's career highlights. Their sound, appearance on stage and the atmosphere they create all strive to feel authentic while delivered with passion.

Among Mac fans they have a good reputation, thanks to their many tours, festival dates, corporate engagements and TV performances.

The tribute act focuses primarily on the band's Rumours album, which achieved 100 million in sales, performing hits such as Don’t Stop, Gypsy, Go Your Own Way, Dreams, Rhiannon and The Chain. Their set also features songs from the Peter Green era, notably Albatross, as well as solo tracks by Stevie Nicks.

Fleetwood Bac has delighted audiences everywhere from St. Tropez and Dubai to the Cayman Islands, not to mention selling out the famous Minack Theatre in Cornwall twice. They have also been listed by The Times newspaper as a top five UK tribute. Indeed, fans include former Mac bassist and subsequent band biographer Bob Brunning.

Tickets cost £32.50 for each show. Banner printing shouldn't be underestimated as a resource by those engaged in the promotion of a concert or musical event.

Fleetwood Bac's shows will start at 7.30 pm each day on Saturday, 1 August and Sunday, 2 August at Gawsworth Hall in Macclesfield.
