Recruitment drive for Macclesfield firm

A company with headquarters in Macclesfield has taken a new batch of employees recently.

Kinaxia Logistics has expanded its finance group by hiring three executives. Business card printing can receive a boost when an enterprise grows, especially when skilled personnel are given new roles.

After accumulating considerable experience, Mike Lyons has been given a job in relation to group governance, while Gary Thompson is now a finance director with a regional focus, and Sharon Deakin has the responsibility of controlling the finance of the group.

Ben Warrillow has been a finance director for some time, and told Business Up North:



“Mike, Gary and Sharon have a wealth of expertise and a deep understanding of the industry.”




Warrillow explained that the finance function of the organisation would be strengthened by the appointments, and added that the new finance team will have the power to match the growth of the business as a whole.

Kinaxia has 13 logistics units located in various parts of the UK. With 800 vehicles and more than 1,600 workers, the corporation deals with freight and uses extensive warehouse facilities.

During the last few years, Kinaxia has grown significantly and recorded annual revenues of almost £200m.

Sales at Kinaxia have been such that the outfit has secured recognition from the Sunday Times, featuring in a league table of top track enterprises.
