The singer-songwriter Joel Gardner is headlining two 'End of Year Shows', plus support, in Macclesfield towards the end of December.
Gardner hails from Wilmslow in Cheshire and began performing in 2015, which has gained him a loyal fan base. His songs are talked about in the same breath as those of Frank Turner and Paul Simon, while his guitar style is often compared to that of Andy McKee.
Indeed, Gardner’s music constitutes a celebration of the guitar. He fuses influences of rock, groove, folk and roots, which are then woven together in strong melodies and lyrics, all while utilising first-class guitar playing.
2017 saw him deliver a session at BBC Radio Manchester as well as complete three tours of the UK, performing with the likes of Jamie Lawson and Toss the Feathers. He also produced an EP 'The Idea', not to mention making debut appearances at both the Latitude Festival and Sheffield's Tramlines Festival.
Gardner has garnered much peer recognition, notably the Celtic Connections' 'Danny Kyle Award' and 'Young Performer of The Year Award' at the Wath Festival.
Tickets cost £11.25 inclusive of a transaction fee. The value of banner printing shouldn't be underestimated when it comes to the promotion of a concert or musical event.
Joel Gardner's shows have a starting time of 7.00 pm on Thursday, 19 and Friday, 20 January at The Button Warehouse, Macclesfield.
