A music festival that takes place in Macclesfield each year has announced a roster full of top acts that will appear at the 2024 event.
Rewind North is dedicated to the music of the 1980s, and it is a brand that has built a huge reputation among those who grew up during that era. As in previous years, the 2024 festival is set to be held in the grounds of Capesthorne Hall, and attendees will find some of the best artists of the decade featured on the bill.
The headline acts for the two days will be Billy Ocean and Squeeze. The former had a number of big hits in the 1980s, with the most famous of them being ‘When the Going Gets Tough’. Squeeze also enjoyed a lot of success, and their celebrated hit songs include ‘Cool for Cats’ and ‘Labelled with Love.’
Ocean will top the bill on Saturday, and will perform a special set for this festival that features guests, a gospel choir and big band accompaniment. Squeeze will end the event on the following day in what is their first-ever Rewind appearance.
