New flats could be built on Macclesfield pub site

A number of brand new flats may be constructed at a site in Macclesfield that is currently occupied by a derelict pub, if Cheshire East Council decides to give the Plans the nod.

Storm ADF Developments Ltd is hoping to build a total of 13 flats to serve as support living accommodation at the site in Moss Lane, Macclesfield. At the moment, it is occupied by the former Golden Lion pub, though the Plans would see that knocked down so that a housing complex containing the flats could be put up in place of it.

According to Cheshire Live, the statement submitted along with the Plans indicates that space for amenities and parking would be included as part of the project.

It then goes on to say that:

“This proposal will provide for a much needed mental health accommodation service, acknowledging the area’s growing need for supported living. The site will be fully managed with staff on site 24 hours per day.”

Brochure printing from outlets in Macclesfield can enable housing developers to showcase any new homes that they have created through Brochures containing colour photographs of them.

If it gets the go ahead, this complex would consist of a ground floor with six flats, plus a communal space and an upper floor where the other seven flats would be built.
