Macclesfield is about to get a new B&M store and the company has now gone public with the official opening date for it, with recruitment for people to work there already having started.
This store is set to open at a site within the Barracks Mill Retail Park in Macclesfield and it will include a garden centre alongside the main shopping section. It is expected to lead to the creation of jobs for 50 people living in the area, which will make it a boost to the town’s economy. B&M began hiring people before Christmas and will continue to do so throughout this month.
The completed store will cover 24,134 sq ft and it will make B&M the fifth major chain to set up shop at this park. KFC, M&S, Costa and Aldi already have branches based there.

Visitors to this B&M store once it opens will find everything from drinks and food to games, toys, DIY, electrical and home items, plus products for beauty and health. It will be the second branch of the chain to launch within Macclesfield.
