The popular 'Button Originals Night' features the band Fine Lines, and is due to take place in Macclesfield at the beginning of March.
This constitutes a night of quality music performed live, giving the current crop of talented singer-songwriters a chance to showcase their material. Fine Lines consists of a six-piece British band that delivers roots-based Americana, recently praised by Absolute Radio Country's Matt Spracklen.
They were formed in 2016 by singer-songwriter David Boardman, and have built-up a solid reputation with live music fans nationwide. Their three album releases 'Gaslight Roses’, ‘Hour Of Need’ and ‘Deadbeat Lullabies’ all received positive reviews.
The band's appearances at festivals have included The British Country Music Festival, not to mention, Pub in the Park. They notably also completed a UK tour acting as guests of The Long Ryders.
Fine Lines distinctive sound centres on the vocals of Boardman and Helen Walford, echoing that of Bruce Springsteen and Gram Parsons. Whilst their latest compilation LP ‘Bourbon Hymns’, with accompanying single, ‘This Little World’, came out in October 2024.
There is no charge for entry to this event.
