This event is intended to provide a showcase for up-and-coming artists from the area, as well as a chance for more established names to exhibit their latest creations. All of the artists whose work is put on display during the fair agree to hand over 40% of any money that they make from sales to the art therapy unit of local charity the East Cheshire Hospice.
Over 80 artists are expected to submit work for exhibition over the course of the fair, which runs for a week and a half. The venue for the 2022 Art Fair Cheshire is set to be Macclesfield Town Hall.

The Co-chair of the Art Fair, Georgie Johnson, told In Your Area that:
“By giving a platform to emerging artists, the event hopes to ignite curiosity, spark conversation and introduce unique investment opportunities for both first-time buyers and the more experienced collectors who come along.”
Art Fair Cheshire will take place from 26th May to 5th June.
