A nostalgia music festival that celebrates the biggest stars and songs from 1980s pop will be coming to Macclesfield this summer, and an exciting line-up has already been confirmed.
Rewind North has become the top 1980s festival in the world since it was first launched and the roster of artists who will perform this year shows why. The headline act on the Saturday is set to be former Frankie Goes to Hollywood singer Holly Johnson, while the star turn on the Sunday will be one of the decade’s most successful acts – The Human League.
Other artists who have been announced for the 2022 event include Soul II Soul, Kim Wilde, Level 42, Belinda Carlisle, Scritti Politti and Doctor and the Medics. The main stage host will be former DJ Pat Sharp.
Poster printing that has been provided by Macclesfield shops can be a very effective way for the organisers of festivals like this to promote them to the target audience.
Those attending Rewind North will have the choice of going for a single day or staying for the entire weekend. For the latter there will be a camp site for setting up tents, but that will also have room for campervans for those who want to be able to enjoy a bit more luxury.
This festival takes place at Capesthorne Hall, Macclesfield from 5th to 7th August.
