The Shine a Light Festival, presented by Rossendale Trust & Space 4 Autism, is due to be held in Macclesfield in mid-July.
This is set to be a fun family-orientated event that celebrates the spirit within the local community and focuses on the contribution made by local charities. It is a day filled with activities and entertainment, plus a chance to link up with organisations that make a significant social impact.
The planned itinerary includes sports competitions, notably a series of games, aimed particularly at young people. There will also be live music provided by local artists, as well as performances given by several choirs. The event is an opportunity for them to display their talents.
For food and refreshments, vendors will be on-site offering a wide variety of suitable treats. These can be enjoyed in the picnic area, where one can also relax and take in the celebratory atmosphere. One notable highlight is the Artisan Market, which is a chance to explore the stalls and make purchases from local businesses. There is likely to be something of interest for everyone attending.
Entry is free. Brochure printing can be an effective option when it comes to the promotion of a charity or community event.
The Shine a Light Festival will take place between 11.30 am and 4.00 pm on Saturday, 12 July at Victoria Park, Macclesfield.
