The biennial Art Fair Cheshire is due to be held in Macclesfield between the end of September and the beginning of October.
This event, founded in 1999, is an exhibition showcasing the work of more than 50 local artists in a spread of mediums. It constitutes a celebration of both talent and community and, in particular, is eager to facilitate the development of creators.
The exhibition itself consists of two galleries. The Assembly Gallery contains original sculptures and works by a selection of artists while the Capesthorne Gallery focuses on jewellery, ceramics, glassware, photography, willow weaving, millinery as well as prints.
On the initial day of the exhibition, the North Cheshire Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Art Fair Cheshire will hold a networking breakfast. This enables those attending to preview the displays and to facilitate useful future business contacts.
There will also be, during the course of the week, a pop-up cafe offering cakes and coffee, not to mention a series of artist talks and tours. Those exhibiting donate a percentage of their sales to East Cheshire Hospice raising £40,000 plus on all occasions.

Art Fair Cheshire will take place between Thursday 26th September and Thursday 3rd October at Macclesfield Town Hall.
