Inspiral Carpets star to DJ in Macclesfield

One of the key members of popular 1990s band The Inspiral Carpets will be making his way to Macclesfield next month, to perform a DJ set at a venue within the town.

Clint Boon is the organist for the band, which hit it big during the ‘Madchester’ era of the early 1990s. Perhaps their most famous chart success was the song ‘This is How it Feels’, which reached the top 20 in 1990. The band are still going strong today, but Boon has a sideline as a DJ and it is in that capacity that he will be performing in Macclesfield.

It will mark his second appearance behind the turntables in the town. He played a very popular set in Cinemac Live during 2023, so this return visit is sure to be another big hit. Graphic design outlets in Macclesfield can help with the production of advertising Posters for upcoming shows like this one.

The venue in Roe Street will again be the location for his show. It is being put together by Party in the Pews and Cinemac Live. Jo Lowes from the former told Macclesfield Nub that:

“Clint has hit the decks of just about every sell out club in Manchester, along with every festival stage too. Get your tickets early as we’re expecting a sell out.”

The show takes place on 4th May.
