A sizeable housing development that would provide Macclesfield with hundreds of new homes could be set to be constructed, with the developers having submitted the Plans to the strategic planning board for Cheshire East Council.
The two developers responsible for the Plans are the North West division of Redrow and Jones Homes and the site that they are looking to build the development on is close to Chelford Road, Macclesfield. They already have outlined planning consent to build on this site, with that having been granted back at the start of 2019.
Under the terms of that consent, they have permission to construct a maximum of 232 houses there, with the current proposal being for a total of 216. There would be 83 houses with four bedrooms, 73 with three bedrooms, 50 two-bedroom homes and 10 one-bedroom houses.
The developers have also committed to making 65 of them affordable properties, to tie in with the target of 30% set by Cheshire East Council.
Graphic Design Services in Macclesfield can potentially help housing developers, by creating images of their planned developments for the local council and general public to view.
The chosen site for this development is made up of five fields and the plan is to include vehicle access points on Chelford Road, with pedestrian access via Pexhill Road and a new roundabout added.Get a Free Quote for Graphic Design Services Get a Free Quote for Plans
