Evening of laughter awaits in Macclesfield

Macclesfield Comedy Club, is due to hold one of its regular evenings of stand-up in the town in mid-October.

This show delivers to the stage a selection of award-winning comics, with television experience. Those on the bill include Rob Rouse, Bella Humphries and the comedy duo Halls of the Ridiculous.

The humorous storyteller, Rob Rouse, first came to prominence by winning Channel 4’s 'So You Think You’re Funny?' competition in Edinburgh. He has since appeared at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and plays venues all around the UK. His TV credits include Channel 4's long running hit series '8 Out Of 10 Cats'.

Bella Humphries is a comic, writer and actor, who graduated in 2020 from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, only to get her career start in in North Wales. She has supported Harriet Kemsley on tour, written material for BBC Radio Wales and featured in 'Just The Tonic' at Machynlleth Comedy Festival.

Halls of the Ridiculous fuse fast improvisation with high-energy character driven sketches. The humour however comes from direct audience participation, ideas and suggestions.

A single adult ticket costs £15.00. Stationery printers are a useful resource for anyone engaged in the promotion of a comedy or theatrical event.

Macclesfield Comedy Club's show has a starting time of 8.00 pm on Friday 10th October at Cinemac, Macclesfield.
