Care home financing won by Macclesfield nurse

A care home nurse from Macclesfield has succeeded in winning grant financing that will allow her to carry out Plans for the renovation of the garden area.

Jasmin Lanzaderas works at the Hollins Park care home, which is on Victoria Road, Macclesfield. She has come up with an idea for turning its garden into a therapeutic area for the elderly residents of the home, complete with sensory path to assist dementia sufferers, a decorative water feature and a greenhouse they can use to grow vegetable and flowers.

She applied for grant funding through the Elsie Wagg Scholarship to raise the money needed for the redevelopment of the garden. As part of that process, she had to outline the vision she has for it to the judging panel.

Graphic Design Services in Macclesfield can help in situations like that, by providing attractive and colourful images of planned projects that can be used to support applications.

Speaking to In Your Area, Jasmin stated that she had a personal enthusiasm for gardening, adding:

“After speaking with residents and hearing how much they enjoy being outdoors too, I quickly realised we needed to make the garden accessible to all and bring the outside in where possible.”

She concluded by saying that she was eager to get going on remodelling the space, which will also include a pub and sweet shop.
