Beer festival heading back to Macclesfield

An annual beer festival will be returning to Macclesfield this year. The planned date at the height of the summer will make for the perfect time for local people to wet their whistle with a few cold ones.

The 2023 Wincle Beer Festival will be the ninth edition of the event, which was started back in 2011 by Giles Meadows, who is also the owner of the Wincle Brewery. Talking to Macclesfield Nub ahead of this year’s event, he stated that one of the biggest selling points of the festival – apart from the beer – is the beautiful setting in which it is held.

That setting is a lovely green field across from the brewery, right by the side of the river. It makes for the ideal place for people to enjoy sampling the different beers on offer, with Meadows going on to say that:

“This year we have over 40 beers and ciders. Most of the beer is local. We have great relationships with other breweries who throughout the year support each other.”

Organisers of events such as this can make use of Logo Design services from outlets in Macclesfield to come up with branding ideas that are appropriate and that catch the eye.

Meadows added that eight beers featured will be from his brewery. The festival will take place across the 7th and 8th July.
