It will soon be time for lovers of the grape in Lutterworth and the surrounding areas to fill their glasses, with the news that the annual Wine Fair is coming to town.
This hugely popular event has been a part of the autumn season in Lutterworth for almost a decade and a half now. Each year, it brings together some of the finest wines that are available from producers all over the world. The 2024 Lutterworth Wine Fair is set to be no exception, and local people will be able to sample them for an entry fee of just £4.
The venue for the event will be the Wycliffe Rooms, which is situated on George Street. Those who decide to go along will find a number of wines from countries noted for their production, including France, Italy, Australia and Spain.
However, there will also be wines from nations that are less associated with its creation. Among them will be Slovenia and Romania. It is sure to be an essential event for anyone with an interest in wine.
Venues in Lutterworth that are hosting events of this nature sometimes use poster printing from local shops to make sure they are well advertised.
The Lutterworth Wine Fair started in 2010, when it was proposed by a wine merchant. This year, it will take place on Saturday, 5 October.
