This hub will be constructed within Magna Park, the area’s key logistics and warehousing facility. The company behind it is Guardian Smart Infrastructure Management Inc and it will operate the hub with the help of Keoma Hubs. Once it has been completed, companies will be able to use it for charging up electric HGVs. It will also contain further amenities that allow the wider British freight transport sector to make the switch to electric.
Magna Park is a major centre for logistics companies, and its total floor space covers over 13 million sq ft. There are 50 different buildings within it, with many of them home to FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 firms.
Lutterworth already has several places that offer useful services for businesses. Among them are Print shops that supply printed Business Cards for use at networking events.
Guardian Smart Infrastructure Management president Robert Mah told Forecourt Trader that:
“This partnership exemplifies GSIM’s mission – to bring transformative smart solutions to global infrastructure.”
During the first phase of the project, 32 electric chargers will be built. These will be able to handle 179 bays and provide power of 400kw each.
A date for work to get underway on the construction is still to be announced.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Print
