A call has been put out to people who live in Lutterworth, as nominations are sought for a community award in the town.
The Volunteer Awards is something that takes place every year in Lutterworth, and the recipients are chosen by local people. The idea behind the awards is to recognise residents who make a particular effort to improve the quality of life in the town. That effort has to be expressed through voluntary work, but it can take a number of different Forms. Nominees can be those who pick up litter in parks, help neighbours who need support or donate their free time to the elderly.
Lutterworth Town Council organises these awards and it is asking residents to put forward their nominees for 2026. This should be done by email and should include the contact information for the person who is being nominated. It should also feature short details about why they deserve consideration for an award.
When the organisers of local awards are looking for nominations, it helps if they can spread the word as much as possible. Poster printing by shops in Lutterworth can help them to do this.
People have until April 3 to get their nominations in for these awards. The Town Council will then decide on the winners by April 14.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held on May 19.Get a Free Quote for Forms
