The Plans for this solar farm were put forward by renewable energy firm Enviromena. The site that has been chosen for the project is just to the west of Magna Park, alongside Coal Pit Lane. Rugby Borough Council opted to approve the plans at a recent meeting, which means work will soon be able to get underway. When it has been completed, it will be called Lutterworth Solar Farm.
It is expected to provide enough power for almost 8,000 homes in the area, but that is not the only potential benefit. Enviromena pointed out that it will contribute financially too, in the form of business rates. It calculates that the total sum that will be paid during the lifecycle of the solar farm will be roughly £2.5 million.
When companies need to correspond with the local authority, Print shops in Lutterworth that create Letterheads can be useful. They can provide Stationery that emphasises the company brand.
Mark Harding works for Enviromena as its chief development officer. Speaking to the Harborough Mail, he said:
“This is an important step forward for a project that will make a real, measurable contribution to the UK’s clean energy supply and to the local communities surrounding the site.”
Lutterworth Solar Farm is expected to be operational for a maximum of 40 years.Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Letterheads Get a Free Quote for Plans
