Wine Fair coming to Lutterworth again

Lovers of wine who live in Lutterworth and the wider region are set for a treat next month, as the annual Lutterworth Wine Fair returns for a seventh successive year.

This event is set to take place at the town’s Wycliffe Rooms venue, which has recently undergone extensive refurbishment and is located on George Street. Those who attended the 2015 fair will recall that wines from India – provided by Character Wines – proved to be the big hit with enthusiasts. This country is fast developing into a powerhouse of wine production and will no doubt be represented again this year.

Wines supplied from closer to home will also be a feature of this year’s event, with the Oakham-based importer Bat and Bottle set to provide a number of Italian wines that it specialises in. Those behind the event have stated that there will be wines for all palates on offer.

Furthermore, the fair is also set to cater for those who find themselves nursing a thirst but without a taste for wine – as two breweries based in the Lutterworth area will be offering alternative beverages. The Market Harborough Brewery and Kendrick Brewery, the latter producing Rugby-themed beers, are the two in question.

It takes place on October 8th and promotional items are often used at events such as this, to help advertise the drinks.
