A popular event that offers a variety of live comedy performances will be returning to a venue in Lutterworth this summer, and some star names have been lined up.
Funhouse Comedy Club has built a reputation for itself as a stand-up showcase and a must-see for comedy fans in the town. The man who will headline it is Spanish comic Ignacio Lopez, who has become a well-known television star in recent years.
He has made appearances on such hit shows as ‘Have I Got News for You’ and ‘Live at the Apollo’, so there will be plenty of people keen to see his new set. He is known for taking a sharp-eyed look at the differences between cultures, based on his unusual Spanish-Welsh background.
Another performer who will take to the stage is Mandy Muden. Her show is a unique mix of stand-up comedy and magic and she has also appeared on television. Muden was a contestant on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and earned the plaudits of the judging panel.
The venue for the upcoming event will once again be The Wycliffe Rooms, which is on George Street, Lutterworth.
