These Plans have been submitted to Harborough District Council by ATE Farms. The company wants to turn the chosen site into a mixed-use development containing a solar farm covering an area equivalent to 26 full size football pitches, plus a number of lodges for holiday use and a farm shop.
The site in question is at Leicester Road, Lutterworth, and was formerly the base for the Slip Inn Quarry. At the moment it is lying vacant, and the company will be hoping to get the necessary approval needed to bring it back into use.
There would be a total of 33 lodges for people on holiday in the area, as well as some offices, a café, a building for those managing the site and 20 charging points for electric vehicles.
Redditch graphic design outlets can help those proposing new developments such as this by creating images that show what they would look like when built.
According to the Harborough Mail, the application says that:
“The proposal would provide a significant number of job opportunities in the commercial units, the farm shop and in servicing the residential lodges.”
