New Leicestershire businesses get brochure boost

New businesses in Leicestershire could be in for a welcome boost – thanks to a new brochure that has been printed to help make it easier for new firms to understand how business works in the county.

The brochure has been collated and produced by the Leicester and Leicester Enterprise Partnership, or LLEP for short. The LLEP was formed in 2010 and aims to help strengthen and support the local economy by helping local businesses to grow and prosper. The brochure has been produced as part of an on-going programme called Better Business For All, which aims to help businesses to follow the correct processes and procedures in order to become more prosperous.

The chairperson of the LLEP is Andrew Bacon. He recently spoke about the new brochure and the advice pack that comes with it, saying:

“Our Better Business for All programme has brought together businesses and regulators, to improve knowledge on both sides and try to stop red Tape from thwarting our companies. I hope that new businesses will find this brochure helpful in guiding them through the regulations.”

The brochure was showcased at a recent launch event. Brochures like this are often produced by local organisations in conjunction with regionally-based brochure printers. Lutterworth, Harborough and the wider Leicestershire region is home to a number of businesses that may benefit from receiving a copy of the brochure. The brochure is available by contacting the LLEP directly, or by visiting the website of the organisation.
