A new eatery is opening up in Lutterworth.
With street food the name of its game, Market Street Kitchen should add something novel to the Lutterworth scene. The business is backed by successful individuals in the sector. Letterheads can be useful for a venue, especially when an enterprise is starting out.
Chef Rory McClean appears to have a clear vision of the kind of establishment Market Street Kitchen will be, with customers getting the option of different sized meals.
Some thought has been given to the design of the restaurant. The upstairs space is intended to be intimate and cosy, while the downstairs area will be brightly lit as a contrast.
Initially, the restaurant is to be open in the evenings between Wednesday and Sunday. In addition, the weekend will see the Market Street Kitchen being open for brunch. A side entrance shall be used for the sale of snacks and coffee during the week. This element of the business has been named MSK On the Side.
It seems that the menu is going to cater for a range of consumers. Vegan options like sweet potato and crispy tofu will be sold alongside pork cheek buns and tiger prawn dumplings. Craft beers and cocktails will be available, while a special effort is in place to source beverages from local breweries.
