Lutterworth may get new McDonalds restaurant

A brand new branch of the McDonald’s fast food restaurant chain looks set to open at a location on the fringes of Lutterworth, with a planning application now having been submitted to the council.

If it gets the go-ahead, the project will also see a branch of the Costa Coffee outlet built there. The site that has been chosen for the development is just off of Coventry Road in Lutterworth, very close to the A4303 motorway and roundabout. The application lodged with the council indicates that the two outlets would provide job opportunities for 80 people living in the area.

According to the Harborough FM website, this application then goes on to state that the planned development would have further beneficial effects on the local economy by getting a vacant site back into use.

It then adds:

“There is known operator demand for roadside uses at this location and being located on the strategic highway network, the site is a logical development site for such uses.”

If these planned branches of McDonald’s and Costa Coffee get the green light, giveaway Promotional Products are one of the ways in which they can be advertised to attract the attention of people in the area.

Both of the proposed venues would include drive-thru facilities as part of their offer, alongside the option of eating and drinking inside the buildings.
