A variety concert in Lutterworth has been judged to be a big success by organisers.
The recent Lutterworth variety concert was similar to a concert for Haiti that took place several years ago. It was held in Lutterworth College on February 9th. The Lutterworth Medical Centre should obtain some extra equipment as a consequence of the event. Wycliffe Drama Group stated that the Lutterworth concert was a sell-out. Poster printing can add colour to events of various types.
Richard Hill planned and hosted the concert. He evaluated what went on and told the Harborough Mail:
“It was a total privilege to host this all-embracing community event. For a town as small as Lutterworth to have such a wide range of high-quality talent is nothing short of amazing.”
Approximately 500 individuals got involved in the variety concert in some fashion. This figure includes 175 performers and about 25 staff. Some of the team was back-stage, while several team members operated in customer facing roles. Meanwhile, the audience consisted of 300 people.
Attendees had plenty of different performances to enjoy. There was drama, comedy, dance, music and song. Tickets were priced at £10 each.
One of the organisations that contributed a lot to the evening was the Warrington School of Dance. This establishment was founded over three decades ago by Helen Warrington, who is the principal.
