Gin bar launches near Lutterworth

A brand new gin bar – the first of its kind in the local area – has opened to the public near Lutterworth, in Market Harborough.

Gin and Fizz is based at Leicester Road, with The Waterfront directly below it. It will be offering a range of high-quality gins provided by Burleighs, which is a gin maker located in Leicestershire.

Stephanie Hamblin, who owns this venue and The Waterfront and Foxton Locks Inn, told the Lutterworth Mail that everyone involved felt excited at the prospect of launching something new in the area, and that gin was a beverage that was increasing in popularity, adding:

“We are also delighted to be stocking Burleighs Gin, which is made nearby and is a brand highly respected by gin connoisseurs.”

The venue underwent a comprehensive refurbishment ahead of its launch, and is set to open between Wednesday and Saturday from 5:00 pm. It represents the newest venue to open in this locale, which enjoys considerable popularity among visitors, dog walkers and boaters.

Hamblin went on to add that she believed the Gin and Fizz would serve as the perfect complement to other local facilities, such as restaurants, as it would allow people to grab a nightcap or aperitif, or simply call in to have a drink.
