This station would be called Cross Counties Radio Magna Park and work is currently ongoing in the hope that it can be launched in the near future. The aim behind it is to provide a connection between residents of Lutterworth and those working at the distribution centre β which is the biggest of its kind in Europe.
The initial Cross Counties Radio delivery was received by Magna Park Management Plaza recently, courtesy of Keith Beard, the estates manager, who has played a key role in developing the idea from the beginning.
Speaking to Radio Today, he stated that he was confident that both Lutterworth residents and Magna Park workers would appreciate the station, adding:
βIt will bring the two communities together with more strength and allow local businesses in Lutterworth to directly reach the workforce up here at Magna Park and hopefully bring even more shoppers to the town which is on our doorstep.β
This idea has been in development for around a year and a half and could launch within 18 months. If it does, it can always rely on places that provide flyer printing to help promote it in the local area.
