Buyer looks to save wedding venue near Lutterworth

A wedding venue in the Lutterworth area could be given a reprieve by a buyer.

According to the Leicester Mercury, restrictions on weddings and entertainment last year meant that Hothorpe Hall went into administration. A buyer is intervening with the aspiration to turn things around. Logo Design can be important in the hospitality sector, especially when an organisation undergoes a change of ownership.

Yasmin Bhikha is a director for FRP Advisory, which took on the administration of the hall. Bhikha told the Mercury:

“Like much of the rest of the UK hospitality and leisure sector, Hothorpe Hall has seen their ability to operate severely restricted by the pandemic, which has led to financial difficulties and need for restructuring.”

FRP Advisory has reported that almost 500 offers for the venue were made, indicating considerable interest in preserving the venue. The new proprietor chose not to reveal their identity to the public when making their bid.

With regard to jobs, the proposals state that 44 staff will continue to be employed. The workers were furloughed because of COVID-19 and they are expected to become employees of the new owner.

Hothorpe Hall features more than 50 bedrooms, and it has been valued at almost £4m. The building is situated adjacent to Theddingworth, which is close to Market Harborough and Lutterworth.
